Collection and processing of personal data
For the generation and maintenance of the Internet connection and for statistical purposes, when you visit our website our web server and the web server of our technical partner, LPLUS GmbH, register your abbreviated IP address and the Internet address of the site from which you access our website as well as the date and time of your access, the type of browser and operating system you are using, and the number of bytes transferred during the connection.
When you log in to the registration portal, other data is stored in order to process your online application and to conduct the test: your name, your place and date of birth, your telephone number, your e-mail address and your postal address, as well as (voluntary) data on your bachelor qualification. In order to process error messages we also store your IP address, the accessed site, the application procedures and the browser and operating system you are using, your name and your e-mail address. During a session we store certain information in the form of so-called "session cookies" on your PC. These are valid for one session only, and are deleted after a session is concluded. ITB Consulting GmbH and its technical partner, LPLUS GmbH, use your data exclusively for the purpose of the services ordered by you. It is stored by LPLUS GmbH on a server within the European Union in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
Personal data from your application, registration and the BT-BASE will be collected, stored, processed and used solely for the purpose of conducting and grading the BT-BASE as well as for research purposes, in particular research related to the further development of the test. Your personal data is accessible only to ITB Consulting GmbH and LPLUS GmbH. The test centres commissioned to conduct the selection test receive only data that is necessary to verify the participants’ identities (name, date and place of birth).
The data will be stored by LPLUS GmbH on a server within the European Union in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. The data will be encrypted during transmission.
Information on Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”– text files which are stored on your computer and allow the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
